Heck Yeah Jesus Saves

One thing I ask of the Lord:
and this is what I seek,
that I may dwell in the
house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
and to gaze upon
the beauty of the Lord and
to seek Him in His temple. Psalm 27:4

Dear brothers and sisters,
I pray that this blog can help bring you closer to God and help you to love Him more. Please know that I am growing with you as well. I love Jesus so much and together we are following Him. Please let me know if there is ever any questions that you have or prayer requests that you need praying for. I am always open to prayer requests, questions, comments, or just a conversation. God wants us to all grow together in Him. But ultimately, don’t look to Tumblr for the answers, look to the Bible, look to God. I love you and I'm praying for you.

I thank my God every time I remember you.

In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you.

Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, there are people who aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said, in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That tells me, if you will do your best to be at peace with people, even if they won’t take your peace, the good news is that peace will just come back to you. You’ll not only get your peace, but you’ll get their share as well! That’s double for your trouble! When you do the right thing no matter what is happening, God sees it and rewards it. So choose peace today and walk in the blessing He has for you!

Think about this: the only difference between a piece of black coal and a priceless diamond is the amount of pressure that it’s endured. When you stand strong in the midst of the trials and difficulties in life, when you allow God to shape and mold your character, it’s like going from a piece of coal to a priceless diamond. Those difficulties are going to give way to new growth, new potential, new talent, new friendships, new opportunities, new vision. You’re going to see your life blossom in ways that you’ve never even dreamed!

Please pray for my boyfriend, he's going through so much stress and change. He's going back to college soon and he's already had a tough summer. Ask God to look after him and that life doesn't confuse him. Please and thank you.

Dear God,

Thank you for giving us peace among the chaos, in knowing that You are in control. Lord, we surrender our worries to You and lay it all in Your hands. Right now, we pray for our dear sister’s boyfriend. Bless her sweet heart for loving him. Teach her Your ways and move her to reach out to him with patience and kindness. We ask that You would bless their relationship and the journey that is before them. Strengthen her boyfriend physically, mentally and spiritually. Walk with him throughout the journey, the ups and the downs. Give them grace and give them faith to hang on and thrive in all that they do. Bless them with hope and Your Presence each day. Tighten their relationship and allow them to exemplify the love that Y0u have for the the church. Help them in the weak areas that they may be bold and confident in You. Amen.
